DEHSUPP

DEHSUPP is an internal lump that defines the data DeHackEd works on. Older ZDoom versions allowed replacing this lump with a custom version so that modifying actors which are not part of the original set was possible.

Warning: The feature described on this page has been deprecated, and will no longer be supported or updated by the GZDoom developers. While some functionality may be retained for the purposes of backwards-compatibility, authors are strongly discouraged from utilizing this feature in future projects and to instead use the modern DECORATE format. Compatibility with future GZDoom versions is not guaranteed.

Current versions of ZDoom no longer allow DEHSUPP modifications. Any user-provided replacement lump will be simply ignored, and a warning displayed on startup.

However, the ZDaemon port allows use of custom DEHSUPP lumps instead of supporting DECORATE, so any DEHACKED lump found in a mod with a DEHSUPP lump will also be ignored.
